Private Beta

Know what you own.
Prove it when it matters.

AssetTrack is a mobile-first app that helps small businesses, estates, and property managers catalogue their assets — ready for insurance claims, audits, and auction.

Everything in one place

From a single item to an entire estate — captured, organised, and insured.

📱

Scan & capture in seconds

Scan existing QR labels, generate new ones, or use the barcode on the item itself. One tap creates a full asset record with a photo.

🗂️

Location hierarchy

Organise by property, room, and storage location. Scan a location QR code once and every item you capture after is automatically nested under it.

🔍

Smart OCR

Point the camera at a serial number or model plate. AI reads it for you — no typing. One more tap enriches the item with a name and description.

📊

Insurance-ready reports

Market value, replacement cost, and depreciation calculations. Export a full inventory report by email — formatted for your insurer or broker.

🔨

Auction-ready export

Mark items for auction, then download a Trade Me export ZIP — one folder per item with photos and a pre-filled listing template.

👥

Team & guest access

Invite auditors and stocktakers to your account. Or share a QR code for a temporary guest session — no login required on their end.

How it works

Set up takes minutes. No hardware to buy. No app store.

1

Open on your phone

AssetTrack is a web app — open it in Safari or Chrome and add it to your home screen. Done.

2

Set up your locations

Create your property structure — building, rooms, storage. Print QR labels from the app to stick in each space.

3

Scan items as you go

Walk through a room, scan or photograph each item. AssetTrack fills in the name, description, and value with AI assistance.

4

Export or share

Email an inventory report, download a full backup, or export a Trade Me listing pack for items you want to sell.

Your data is yours

We know asset registers contain sensitive information. Here is exactly how we protect it.

🔐

Encrypted at rest

Asset names, descriptions, serial numbers, values, and personal details are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they leave your device. The database never stores readable text.

🌏

Hosted in New Zealand / Australia

All infrastructure runs in Microsoft Azure's Australia East region. Your data never leaves ANZ jurisdiction.

🏠

Strict tenant isolation

Every account is a separate tenant. Row-level security ensures database queries are scoped to your account only — it is architecturally impossible for one account to see another's data.

🔒

HTTPS only

All communication is encrypted in transit with TLS 1.2+. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Authentication uses short-lived signed JWT tokens — never stored server-side.

🚫

No third-party data sharing

Your inventory data is not shared with, sold to, or accessible by any third party. OCR and AI features use Anthropic (Claude), whose servers are located in the US — images are transmitted solely for processing and are not retained by Anthropic. Our infrastructure providers hold industry-leading certifications: Microsoft Azure (ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, SOC 1/2/3 Type II) and Anthropic (ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II — all criteria).

📦

Full data portability

Download a complete backup of your entire inventory — every asset, location, and photo — as a self-contained ZIP at any time. No lock-in.

Beta programme notice: AssetTrack is intended to be a long-term product, and we are committed to keeping your data intact. However, as with any software in early development, unexpected issues can occur. We strongly encourage beta testers to take regular in-app backups (Export Data → Download Backup) so you always have a local copy of your inventory.
